2 — LEARN FROM YOUR OLD VIDEOS — Go back and have a look at your existing videos. Take notes on how you should improve them. objectively look at your videos and note things like lighting, audio, are you talking to fast, are you looking at the camera properly are you framed properly. Then take those notes and use that list to make your videos better.
3 — ENGAGE WITH YOUR EXISTING SUBSCRIBERS — You have already done the hard work and are building towards getting your first 1000 youtube subscribers but remember to still talk and reply to your current subscribers.. Ask them questions, reply to comments, make videos to help them.
4 — END CARDS — End cards can be added to the last 20 seconds of your videos. They are a great way to drive additional views and remind people to subscribe. End cards are a FREE tool that every YouTube channel can use to maximise watch time, increase rankings and attract more subscribers.
5 — INFO CARDS — Those little pop ups in the right hand corner of your video. These can pop up anytime during your video rather than just the last 20 seconds of the video. Info cards are a good tool to refer to other videos or playlists.
6 — SHARE YOUR CONTENT — There is no point in making videos if you are not going to advertise them. I don’t mean spending money on click ads, I mean sharing them to Facebook, Forums, Twitter, Friends…. ANYWHERE. The more places you share your video the chances it will be seen.
7 — HELP PEOPLE — It can be hard to get your videos seen in search as a small YouTuber. It’s hard to establish an audience if they don’t know you exist. BUT if you make content that HELPS the person that watches it then they are more likely to share and/or subscribe. Out of the first 100 videos on my channel 80+ were How To’s and Tutorials. This is to hook people in with search and keep them hooked in with helpful information.
8 — DOUBLE DOWN ON SUCCESSFUL CONTENT — Take a look at your existing videos and see what videos have the most views. Make more videos around that topic, make similar videos and feed that audience as that is clearly what they want to see.
9 — LIVE STREAM — Livestreaming has become easier and easier in the last few years. You can now stream from your mobile phone, webcam and using OBS. Live Streams are a great way to engage new viewers and win them over for a subscribe.

How To Get More YouTube Subscribers is a question I am asked every day but it’s more about how to get people to subscribe when they are watching your videos. Get YouTube Subscribers by doing some simple tips in all of your videos.
1 — ASK THEM — You need to ask people to subscribe to your channel to remind them to become a new YouTube subscriber
2 — HELP PEOPLE — Lead with value and answer their questions. Teach them something or solve a problem for them.
3 — FOCUS ON A NICHE — Drill down into what you are doing and get specific. Are you doing science? Drill down deep into a specific science eg Biology, Chemistry or Physics and then get more niched. Build up that reputation.
