I have been on YouTube since 2012 with a glut of well over 3000 videos on multiple channels so I find myself asking those very common questions.
Should I Delete Old YouTube Videos? If you have been on YouTube for a while you will start to collect old videos. But should you delete old youtube videos? Why should you delete old youtube videos? and why you should NOT delete videos on YouTube.
Getting to it directly, should you delete old youtube videos? – No, not unless they hurt your channels growth or your ongoing brand. You may want to keep your old videos for memories or content to link to for future growth.
I have 3 questions I like to ask myself when deciding the fate of my old videos.
2 — Does it harm you or your brand? Was it a misguided video of you when you was 12 yeas old shouting things like an uneducated idiot? Could it hard your business? Consider removing it.
3 — Does the video inspire you? Can you look back at this video and see how far you have grown? Does it inspire you to see how much you have learnt? Maybe keep it it inspire others who want to see you life story and personal growth.
How Often Should You Upload on YouTube? // How Often Should I Upload Videos To YouTube? Are you uploading enough to YouTube to get seen, grow and build and Audience? YouTube How Often is a topic I have discussed with clients and fellow small youtubers for years.
1 — How many videos can you upload without burning out? No point in promising daily vlogs if you can only really manage 2 a week.
2 — Try to aim for 2–3 videos a week to maximise your channel growth and search results chances.
3 — Find ways to make your videos faster. Can you add vlogs or BTS scenes videos to speed up the video creation process in between the videos that might take you longer to make
4 — BULK RECORD — Bulk recording can help you pump out content in the most time efficient manner.
5 — Use playlists to add extra content to your channel and feed YouTube’s algorithm.

Sharing videos to facebook and sharing youtube videos on social media always seems to be confusing as all social networks fight for your attention and aim to keep you on their website above all others.
1 — A GOOD TITLE or QUESTION — This need to be eye catching and draw people in. A question begs for engagement and needs to be answered.
2 — VIDEO LINK — You need to drive the viewer from Facebook onto YouTube to start the watch time session. If you can show YouTube that you can send people to the platform it will look more favourably on you.
3 — HASHTAGS — Facebook DOES use Hashtags. I know its more of a Instagram and Twitter thing but the hashtags help amplify your reach.
4 — VIDEO THUMBNAIL — Do not leave it up to Facebook to auto generate the video link. These video views will not count and the session watch time for youtube is not counted. GO BIG, GO BOLD, Go with a MASSIVE Image.
