LiveReacting started as an interactive streaming tool, but most of its customers now use it for 24/7 and pre-recorded streams. This review looks at it for that job: running a YouTube stream around the clock from the cloud, what it costs, how it handles a server failure, and how it stacks up against Gyre.pro and Upstream.

Part of my 24/7 livestreaming series: see the best 24/7 livestreaming tools compared.
The short version
LiveReacting is a strong 24/7 streaming tool for a single channel. It costs less than Gyre.pro for one stream with a playlist, it restarts your stream on another server if one fails, and it can pull videos straight from a YouTube playlist. It costs more than Upstream at the standard price, charges extra for 60 fps and 4K, and gets pricier than Gyre.pro once you run four streams.
Why listen to me
I have been a YouTube Certified Expert since 2017, hold six YouTube Silver Play Buttons and have audited 500+ channels. I have used LiveReacting and found it easy to use, with a simple UI, and fast to set up. I run my own 24/7 streams on Gyre.pro. I am an affiliate for LiveReacting, Gyre.pro and Upstream, so I earn whichever you pick. Prices and specs below come from LiveReacting’s own pages, checked on 5 November 2026.
MY VERDICT
★★★★½ 4.5/5
The best-value way to run one hands-off 24/7 YouTube stream with a playlist, with failover and interactive extras included.

⚡ QUICK ANSWER: Is LiveReacting good for 24/7 YouTube streaming?
Yes. LiveReacting runs a 24/7 YouTube stream from its own servers with your computer off and no OBS. The 24/7 plan costs $39.99 a month ($33 billed yearly) for one 1080p stream with 100 GB of storage, playlists, multi-cloud failover and ad breaks. Trivia and polls are optional extras.
What is LiveReacting?
LiveReacting is a cloud streaming platform for 24/7, pre-recorded and interactive live streams. You build the stream in a browser studio, and the playlist loops from LiveReacting’s servers, so the browser and your computer can be off. No OBS or encoder is needed.
A 24/7 live stream is one continuous live broadcast, usually a playlist of pre-recorded videos or music that starts again when it ends, so a channel always has something live (more terms in my YouTube terms glossary). On YouTube, the stream sits in your channel’s Live tab for as long as it runs.
LiveReacting is run by founder and CEO Alexander Shpilka and began more than ten years ago as a live-video poll tool. The company reports 39K+ customers, 3M+ streams published and 99.998% uptime, with a public status page showing 90 days of history. Those are LiveReacting’s own figures, not audited ones.
How does a 24/7 stream work on LiveReacting?
A LiveReacting 24/7 stream takes five steps, and after the last one the stream keeps running on its own:
- Create a free account, then open a 24/7 template or start from scratch.
- Add your videos or music: upload files, or on a paid plan import them from a YouTube channel or playlist, Google Drive or Dropbox.
- Build the playlist: set the order, shuffle it, or loop a single file. If your channel is in the YouTube Partner Programme, place ad breaks between videos.
- Connect YouTube by signing in, or paste a stream key for another platform or your own RTMP server.
- Click Go Live, or schedule the dates and times you want it to run.
Once the stream is live, you can close the tab. Changes you make later in the studio, such as new videos, a reordered playlist or a different overlay, go on air when you click Sync with Live, without stopping the stream. If you are new to the idea, my guide to streaming pre-recorded video on YouTube 24/7 covers the basics, and cloud vs desktop streaming explains why a cloud tool beats leaving a PC running OBS.
What does LiveReacting do well for 24/7 streaming?
LiveReacting’s 24/7 strengths are fast setup from templates, YouTube import, multi-cloud failover and optional interactive extras. Each one is covered below.
Fast setup with templates
LiveReacting has 100+ ready-made, customisable templates. The 24/7 ones cover common always-on formats: a plain video playlist, lofi with a chat overlay, soul music, synthwave, focus radio, a relaxing spa channel, horror stories and fitness. You open one, swap in your own videos or audio, and go live, which is faster than building a layout from nothing. That matched my own experience: LiveReacting was easy to use, the UI is simple and it was fast to set up.
Import videos from a YouTube playlist or channel
On any paid plan, you paste the link to a YouTube playlist or channel, pick the videos and LiveReacting pulls them into your media library. You don’t download and re-upload anything. Google Drive and Dropbox folders work the same way, and you can still upload files directly. For a creator turning a back catalogue into a 24/7 stream, this saves hours.
LiveReacting also re-encodes MOV, AVI and MKV files for free, accepts files up to 10 GB on the 24/7 plan, and can build a playlist from a CSV of file names (or export one to a spreadsheet).
Multi-cloud failover
Multi-cloud failover is LiveReacting’s answer to the biggest 24/7 risk: a stream that dies at 3am and stays dead. Streams run on dedicated servers across more than one cloud provider. If a server crashes or a provider has an outage, the stream restarts on another server by itself. A corrupted file is skipped, not played, and if a platform drops the connection, LiveReacting reconnects.
Why this matters: a 24/7 stream only earns while it is live. When I audit channels running always-on streams, an unnoticed overnight drop is one of the most common reasons the numbers disappoint. Automatic restart on another server removes most of that risk.
Scheduling and live editing
Scheduling is included on every paid plan. Advanced Scheduling, which is in the 24/7 plan, repeats a stream daily, weekly or at any interval up to four weeks ahead. Each rerun can start over or carry on where the last one stopped, and a stream can go into an event you already scheduled in YouTube Studio or Facebook Live Producer.
Optional interactive extras
Trivia, polls, countdowns, giveaways and a chat overlay fit into a 24/7 stream at no extra cost. Viewers take part by typing in the live chat, up to 150 players at once on the 24/7 plan. They give people a reason to stay longer, and they make a looped stream feel more live and less repetitive, which helps on YouTube (see the monetisation section). You can ignore them completely and run a plain loop.
Can a LiveReacting 24/7 stream earn YouTube ad revenue?
Yes. A LiveReacting 24/7 stream on a monetised YouTube channel earns ad revenue like any other live stream. The Ad Slots Manager places ad breaks between the videos in your playlist, so breaks fall between songs or episodes, and viewers who get no ad see a placeholder video from your channel. Super Chat, Super Stickers and gifts work in the live chat if your channel is eligible.
For larger channels, a custom plan adds HLS and SRT outputs with SCTE-35 markers for YouTube server-side ad insertion (SSAI). SSAI stitches ads into the stream itself, so ad blockers can’t strip them out.
Two YouTube rules still apply. First, your channel needs to be in the YouTube Partner Programme. Archived live streams count towards qualified watch hours, and from 1 February 2027 new applicants need 8,000 of them in 365 days (my 2027 monetisation rules guide has the details). Second, YouTube’s channel monetisation policies exclude mass-produced or repetitive content. One short clip looping with nothing else on screen is the risky case. A varied playlist, shuffled each loop, plus a chat overlay or polls, makes a stream look and behave like a live channel.

Thinking about a 24/7 stream for your channel?
A 24/7 stream works brilliantly for some channels and does nothing for others. On a free call I’ll look at your back catalogue, niche and RPM and tell you whether an always-on stream is worth running and how to set it up.
- You have 50+ videos sitting idle and want them earning
- You’re chasing 4,000 watch hours before the 1 February 2027 rule change
- You’re choosing between LiveReacting, Gyre.pro and Upstream
How much does LiveReacting cost for 24/7 streaming?
LiveReacting’s 24/7 streaming plan costs $39.99 a month, or $33 a month billed yearly ($396 a year). That covers one stream with no time limit at 1080p and 30 fps, 100 GB of storage, files up to 10 GB, up to 5 destinations at once, playlists, Advanced Scheduling, the Ad Slots Manager, free encoding, imports and API access. 60 fps and 4K cost extra and are switched on by the team through chat.
| 24/7 plan quality (1 stream) | Month to month | Billed yearly (per month) |
|---|---|---|
| 1080p, 30 fps | $39.99 | $33 |
| 1080p, 60 fps | $59.98 | $49.50 |
| 4K, 30 fps | $79.98 | $66 |
| 4K, 60 fps | $119.97 | $99 |
Source: livereacting.com/pricing, checked 5 November 2026. Prices in USD; VAT may be added.
New customers can currently start from $21.99 a month with the code KICKSTART2026: 45% off the first five months month to month ($21.99, then $39.99), or $287.93 for the first year billed yearly (then $396). The offer applies to the 24/7 plan at 1080p 30 fps and is listed as ending 30 November 2026.
What do extra 24/7 streams cost?
Each extra 24/7 stream gets a volume discount: 4% off for two streams, 6% for three and 23% for four or more. Month to month, four streams cost $123.17 a month ($30.79 each); billed yearly, they cost $101.64 a month. You can buy up to 20 streams at checkout and up to 1,000 on request. Extra storage is $7 a month per 100 GB.
Which LiveReacting plan do you need for 24/7?
Buy the 24/7 plan, not Medium. LiveReacting’s regular plans cap stream length: Small ($19.99) at 1 hour, Medium ($39.99) at 3 hours, Large ($99.99) at 8 hours and Enterprise ($249.99) at 24 hours. Only the 24/7 streaming plan has no time limit, and it is the plan that lists video playlists. Medium costs the same $39.99, so check you are buying the right one.
| Plan | Monthly | Max stream length | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 30 minutes, 3 streams a month, 720p, watermark | Testing the studio |
| Small | $19.99 | 1 hour | Short interactive shows |
| Medium | $39.99 | 3 hours | Longer live shows |
| 24/7 streaming | $39.99 per stream | No limit | 24/7 and long pre-recorded streams |
| Large | $99.99 | 8 hours | Busy live teams |
| Enterprise | $249.99 | 24 hours | Large live programmes |

You can cancel or change plan at any time from your profile page; the plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. The pricing page doesn’t state a refund policy, so check the terms before you buy a year up front. My usual advice: build the stream on the free plan first, then pay monthly for a month before committing to yearly billing.
Which platforms can LiveReacting stream to?
LiveReacting streams to YouTube, Twitch, Kick, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and 30+ platforms in total, plus any RTMP destination. You connect each one by signing in or by pasting a stream key. The 24/7 plan sends one stream to up to 5 destinations at once.
You can run 24/7 streams on several YouTube channels from one account, one stream per channel. A client or partner can connect their channel through an invite link that grants streaming access only, which suits agencies. Streams can be landscape, portrait (for Shorts, Reels and TikTok) or square.
Platforms set their own limits on how long one live stream can run. LiveReacting restarts a stream automatically when a platform ends it (for example, every 48 hours on Twitch).
| Platform | Maximum length of one live stream |
|---|---|
| YouTube | No published maximum (recordings over 12 hours may not be saved) |
| Twitch | 48 hours |
| X | 24 hours |
| 8 hours | |
| Instagram and LinkedIn | 4 hours |
| Kick and TikTok | No published maximum |

Can AI agents create and run LiveReacting streams?
Yes. Every paid LiveReacting plan includes an API key, an MCP server and a ChatGPT plugin. With the MCP server connected, an AI agent such as Claude Code, Codex or Cursor can build a playlist, schedule a stream and swap a video while it is live from a plain-English request. Your own code can do the same through the REST API. LiveReacting’s ChatGPT plugin brings the same controls into ChatGPT.
For most creators this is a nice extra. For agencies running dozens of streams, it means scheduling and playlist changes can be automated instead of done by hand.
LiveReacting vs Gyre.pro vs Upstream: which is best for 24/7 streaming?
Upstream has the lowest standard price for one 24/7 stream. LiveReacting costs less than Gyre.pro for one stream with a playlist, and it is the only one of the three that documents multi-cloud failover and built-in trivia and polls. Gyre.pro is the best value at four streams and gives each user a dedicated IP.

LiveReacting pros and cons
LiveReacting’s strengths are reliability, setup speed and price for a single stream. Its weak spots are add-on costs and value at higher stream counts.

- 100+ ready-to-use templates, including 24/7 music, lofi and radio formats
- Import videos from a YouTube playlist or channel, Google Drive or Dropbox
- Edit the playlist while the stream is live
- Ad Slots Manager places ad breaks between videos; SSAI on custom plans
- Trivia, polls, countdowns and giveaways included at no extra cost
- Free encoding of MOV, AVI and MKV files
- API, MCP server and ChatGPT plugin on every paid plan
- Free plan that doesn’t expire
Cons
- Higher standard price than Upstream
- 60 fps and 4K cost extra, and the team has to switch them on
- Costs more than Gyre.pro once you run four streams
- Not on YouTube’s verified encoder list
- Regular plans cap stream length, so you must pick the 24/7 plan
- Refund terms aren’t stated on the pricing page
Who should use LiveReacting, and who shouldn’t?
LiveReacting suits creators who want one or two hands-off 24/7 streams without technical setup. It suits fewer people once you need many plain streams at the lowest price per stream.
LiveReacting suits
- 24/7 music, lofi, radio, worship and gaming channels
- Creators turning an existing YouTube playlist or back catalogue into an always-on stream
- Channels that want polls, trivia or countdowns in the stream to keep viewers around
- Agencies running client channels, thanks to invite links, the API and MCP
- Anyone who wants pre-recorded live streams scheduled weeks in advance
Look elsewhere if
- You need four or more plain streams on the smallest budget: Gyre.pro Start+ is cheaper
- You want the lowest price for a single stream: Upstream costs less at the standard price
- Being on YouTube’s verified encoder list matters to you
How I would launch a LiveReacting 24/7 stream this week
- I pick 15 to 30 evergreen videos with the best retention in YouTube Studio and put them in one YouTube playlist.
- I build the stream on the free plan from a 24/7 template, so I only pay once the layout looks right.
- I move to the 24/7 plan, import the playlist by link and turn on shuffle so each loop plays in a new order.
- I add ad breaks with the Ad Slots Manager (if the channel is monetised) and one poll or chat overlay so the stream feels live.
- After a week, I check live watch time and RPM in YouTube Studio before adding a second stream.
My verdict: is LiveReacting worth it for 24/7 streaming?
Yes. LiveReacting earns 4.5/5 from me for 24/7 YouTube streaming. When I used it, it was easy to use, with a simple UI, and fast to set up. For one always-on stream, it combines the things that matter most: it runs with your computer off, restarts itself if a server fails, imports your existing YouTube videos by link and places ad breaks where you want them. The interactive tools are a free bonus that can make a looped stream feel less repetitive.
It loses half a point on cost. The standard price is higher than Upstream’s, 60 fps and 4K are paid add-ons, and Gyre.pro is cheaper once you need four streams. If one or two streams is your plan, LiveReacting is an easy recommendation; build it on the free plan first.

LiveReacting review: frequently asked questions
Can LiveReacting run a 24/7 YouTube stream with my computer off and without OBS?
Yes. LiveReacting streams your playlist from its own servers, so you can close the browser and switch off your computer once the stream is live. You don’t need OBS or any encoder. You build the stream in the browser studio, connect YouTube by signing in or with a stream key, and click Go Live.
Is LiveReacting only for interactive streams, or can it run plain pre-recorded 24/7 loops?
LiveReacting runs plain pre-recorded 24/7 loops, and that is what most of its customers use it for. Trivia, polls, countdowns and giveaways are optional extras you can add to the same stream or leave out completely.
How does LiveReacting compare with Gyre.pro and Upstream for 24/7 streaming?
For one 24/7 stream with a playlist, LiveReacting costs $39.99 a month against $99 a month for Gyre.pro’s Start+ and $30 a month for Upstream. LiveReacting adds multi-cloud failover, YouTube import and interactive extras. Gyre.pro is cheaper for four streams and gives each user a dedicated IP, and Upstream has the lowest standard price for a single stream.
Can I turn an existing YouTube playlist or channel into a 24/7 live stream?
Yes. On any paid LiveReacting plan, paste the link to a YouTube playlist or channel, pick the videos and they are imported into your media library without downloading or re-uploading. Add them to a playlist, connect your channel and go live.
How much does LiveReacting cost for 24/7 streaming?
The LiveReacting 24/7 plan costs $39.99 a month, or $33 a month billed yearly, for one stream with no time limit at 1080p 30 fps and 100 GB of storage. 60 fps and 4K cost extra. New customers can start from $21.99 a month until 30 November 2026, and there is a free plan for testing.
Can a 24/7 stream of pre-recorded videos earn YouTube ad revenue?
Yes, if your channel is in the YouTube Partner Programme and the content follows YouTube’s monetisation policies, which exclude mass-produced or repetitive content. LiveReacting’s Ad Slots Manager places ad breaks between videos, and a custom plan adds server-side ad insertion for larger channels.
What happens to a 24/7 stream if a server crashes?
LiveReacting runs streams on dedicated servers across more than one cloud provider. If a server crashes or a provider has an outage, the stream restarts on another server by itself. A corrupted file in the playlist is skipped instead of played, and if a platform drops the connection, LiveReacting reconnects.
Which LiveReacting plan do I need for a 24/7 stream?
You need the 24/7 streaming plan. LiveReacting’s Small, Medium, Large and Enterprise plans cap each stream at 1, 3, 8 and 24 hours, while the 24/7 plan has no time limit and includes video playlists, Advanced Scheduling and the Ad Slots Manager.
Can I cancel LiveReacting at any time?
Yes. You can cancel or change plan from your profile page at any time, and your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. Monthly billing can be stopped any month; yearly billing is paid once a year.
Final thoughts
LiveReacting is good for 24/7 YouTube streaming. It runs a hands-off loop from the cloud, restarts itself if a server fails and lets you build the stream from a YouTube playlist in minutes, for $39.99 a month. Pick Upstream if the lowest single-stream price matters most, and Gyre.pro if you are running four or more streams.
