If you’re searching for a Gyre.pro alternative, you’re probably in one of two spots: Gyre’s price feels steep for where your channel is, or you want to know whether something cheaper or different can do the same job. I’ve tested every tool in this guide, and some of them now do that job well.

The short version
Upstream is the closest all-round alternative to Gyre.pro in 2026: it runs 24/7 cloud loops, is on YouTube’s verified encoder list and adds a live studio, from free. Livepush is the budget option for basic loops. Restream, StreamYard and LiveReacting are better at live streaming but aren’t 24/7 replacements. Gyre.pro still leads on dedicated IP and enterprise features.
Why listen to me
I’m a YouTube Certified Expert (since 2017) with six YouTube Silver Play Buttons and 500+ channel audits behind me. I use Gyre.pro daily and have earned over $10,000 through its affiliate programme, and before I settled on it I tried everything else I could find, including OBS on a home PC. I earn commission from some tools here, so I’ve said plainly where an alternative beats Gyre.

⚡ QUICK ANSWER: BEST GYRE.PRO ALTERNATIVE
The best Gyre.pro alternative in 2026 is Upstream: it loops playlists 24/7 from the cloud, adds a live studio, supports 30+ platforms and starts free. Livepush is the budget pick for basic loops. Restream and StreamYard are better at live streaming but aren’t true 24/7 replacements.

What makes Gyre.pro hard to replace?
Gyre.pro is hard to replace because it combines hands-off 24/7 cloud looping with a dedicated server and IP for every user, plus an enterprise tier with a broadcast track record. These are the features you’d be replacing:
- Cloud-based 24/7 loop streaming, with no PC, software or presence needed
- A dedicated server and dedicated IP per user, not shared with other streamers
- A place on YouTube’s verified encoder list
- Automatic playlist looping and an RTMP-key-only setup, so your channel login is never needed
- Multi-platform streaming to YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, Instagram, X, Kick and more
- An enterprise white-label tier used by NBCUniversal and BBC Studio
Until recently, very few tools matched more than one or two of those. Upstream now matches the cloud looping, the YouTube verification and the stream-key setup, which is why it tops this list. The dedicated IP per user and the enterprise record are still Gyre’s alone. My complete Gyre.pro review covers every feature in detail.
Gyre.pro alternative #1: Upstream
Best for: Creators who want 24/7 loops and a live studio in one tool, at a lower price
Upstream runs pre-recorded playlists 24/7 from the cloud, with each stream on its own cloud server, and adds a browser-based live studio with overlays. It supports 30+ platforms (10 at once) and 100 GB of storage.
Video and audio playlists loop separately, in order or shuffled, and you can edit them while the 24/7 live stream keeps running. Upstream is on YouTube’s verified encoder list, and you can connect YouTube by signing in or by pasting a stream key. I’ve used it myself, and it’s one of the quickest tools here to get live.
Pricing is the big draw. The free plan gives you every feature and 24 streaming hours a month with no watermark, and unlimited hours cost $30 a month per 1080p stream, or $24 a month billed yearly. That’s $19 a month less than Gyre.pro’s Start plan. Full tiers are on Upstream pricing, and I compare the two in detail in Gyre.pro vs Upstream.
Pros
- 24/7 looping playlists that run without your computer
- On YouTube’s verified encoder list
- Live studio with overlays built in
- 30+ platforms, up to 10 at once
- Free plan with every feature and no watermark
- Cheaper than Gyre.pro at every tier
Cons
- Free plan capped at 24 streaming hours a month
- Dedicated server per stream, but no dedicated IP per user like Gyre.pro
- Fewer published creator case studies than Gyre.pro
Verdict: The closest all-round alternative to Gyre.pro in 2026, and the best value. Pick Gyre.pro if a dedicated IP and enterprise features matter more to you than price and live tools.
Gyre.pro alternative #2: Livepush
Best for: Budget creators who only need basic loop streaming
Livepush has a lot of feature overlap with Gyre.pro. It supports 40+ streaming platforms, includes loop streaming and scheduling, and starts at $15 a month. If your budget is tight and you only need the basics of automated pre-recorded streaming, Livepush is a reasonable starting point.
I tested Livepush before committing to Gyre.pro. It worked, but it wasn’t as polished: the interface took longer to find my way around, the loop setup needed more manual configuration, and the infrastructure is shared. I saw more variation in stream quality at peak times than I ever see on Gyre.
Pros
- Lowest entry price of the full-loop tools
- 40+ platform destinations
- Loop streaming and scheduling included
- Cloud-based, no PC required
Cons
- Shared infrastructure, so reliability varies
- Not on YouTube’s verified encoder list
- Less polished interface and fewer features
- Smaller creator community and fewer case studies
Verdict: A good budget option for basic loops. For serious 24/7 channels where reliability matters, Upstream or Gyre.pro are worth the extra money.
Gyre.pro alternative #3: OneStream Live
Best for: Maximum platform reach (45+ destinations)
OneStream Live covers more streaming destinations than any other tool I tested: 45+ platforms, including many regional and niche services. It supports scheduled pre-recorded streaming, so it overlaps with Gyre’s core job more than Restream or StreamYard do, and the entry price is lower.
In my testing, OneStream’s loop workflow needed more manual setup and checking than Gyre’s. The fire-and-forget reliability I rely on with Gyre wasn’t as consistent. For creators who care most about destination count, OneStream is a real option.
Pros
- 45+ destinations, the widest coverage here
- Scheduled pre-recorded streaming
- Low entry price from $10 a month
Cons
- Loop automation less smooth than Gyre.pro
- Not on YouTube’s verified encoder list
- Interface less intuitive for solo creators
Verdict: Use OneStream Live if platform count comes first. For reliability-first 24/7 loops, Gyre.pro and Upstream are ahead.
Gyre.pro alternative #4: Castr
Best for: Businesses needing strong CDN delivery for live and on-demand video
Castr runs on Akamai’s CDN, one of the most widely used content delivery networks in the world. That gives it strong global delivery and reliable reach to international audiences. It handles live streaming and pre-recorded playback in one place, which suits companies that need both.
For automated 24/7 loops, Castr’s workflow is more complex and less purpose-built than Gyre’s or Upstream’s. Looping exists but takes more configuration, and the interface leans enterprise rather than creator. My Gyre.pro vs Castr breakdown goes deeper on the technical differences.
Pros
- Akamai CDN for strong global delivery
- Live and on-demand in one platform
- Good for international audiences
Cons
- Loop automation less refined than Gyre.pro
- More complex setup for automation
- Shared CDN infrastructure
- Not on YouTube’s verified encoder list
Verdict: Strong for business live and on-demand delivery. Not the simplest route to a creator 24/7 loop.
Gyre.pro alternative #5: Restream
Best for: Live multistreaming to 30+ platforms at once
Restream is an excellent live multistreaming tool. If you go live and want your broadcast on YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, LinkedIn and 26+ other platforms at once, Restream does that very well, with chat aggregation, good analytics and a quick setup.
Restream is built around the idea that you’re present and broadcasting in real time. Pre-recorded scheduling exists, but it isn’t the core of the product, and a playlist that loops forever without you isn’t what it’s designed for. My Gyre.pro vs Restream comparison has the full breakdown.
Pros
- Live multistreaming to 30+ platforms
- Starts at $20 a month
- Built-in chat aggregation
- On YouTube’s verified encoder list
Cons
- Not designed for 24/7 pre-recorded loops
- Needs your presence for live broadcasts
- Shared infrastructure
- Pre-recorded scheduling is a secondary feature
Verdict: Use Restream for live multistreaming. For a 24/7 pre-recorded loop, it’s the wrong tool.
Gyre.pro alternative #6: StreamYard
Best for: Live interview shows and podcasts with remote guests
StreamYard is the go-to browser studio for live shows with guests: up to 10 people on screen, professional overlays, lower thirds, screen sharing and media playback, with no downloads for guests. For interview content, it’s the easiest option available.
As a replacement for 24/7 loop streaming, StreamYard doesn’t compete. You need to be present to run every stream, and there’s no playlist that loops on its own. My Gyre.pro vs StreamYard comparison and StreamYard review explain the differences.
Pros
- Best-in-class live guest management (10 at once)
- Professional overlays and branded graphics
- No downloads for guests
Cons
- No automated 24/7 loops
- You must be present for every stream
- Doesn’t cover Gyre’s use case
Verdict: Outstanding for live shows. The wrong choice for automated 24/7 pre-recorded loops.
Gyre.pro alternative #7: LiveReacting
Best for: Interactive streams with polls, quizzes and game mechanics
LiveReacting sits in a different category from Gyre.pro. Its speciality is adding interactive elements (polls, quizzes, countdown timers, leaderboards and trivia games) to live broadcasts. It can play pre-recorded video inside those interactive templates, but the core product is interactivity, not automation.
If you run game-show streams or a viewer-participation format, LiveReacting offers features no other tool here has. For passively looping pre-recorded content, look elsewhere. More in Gyre.pro vs LiveReacting.
Pros
- Polls, quizzes and games built in
- Pre-recorded video inside interactive templates
- Countdown and leaderboard overlays
Cons
- Not designed for simple 24/7 loops
- Interactive elements need ongoing management
- Not on YouTube’s verified encoder list
Verdict: Only relevant if interactivity is your main need.
Gyre.pro alternative #8: OBS Studio
Best for: Technically confident users who want a free option and have a spare PC
OBS Studio is free, powerful and used by millions of streamers, and it’s on YouTube’s verified encoder list. It can do what Gyre does: set up a media source playlist and let it loop. The catch is that OBS needs a computer running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and one power cut, internet drop, crash or Windows update ends your stream.
I ran OBS-based loops for a while before switching to Gyre. The electricity, the crash-checking and the setup time all added up. For testing the idea for free, OBS works. For a serious 24/7 channel, it’s the wrong infrastructure. I cover this in my Gyre vs OBS vs manual livestreaming comparison and cloud vs desktop streaming.
Verdict: Fine for a free test. For a channel you depend on, move the loop to a cloud tool.
Hard truth about “free”: a PC drawing 150 watts around the clock uses about 108 kWh a month. At 25p per kWh, that’s roughly £27 a month in electricity before you count wear on the machine, which is close to the cost of a paid cloud plan. Check your own unit rate and hardware.

How do the Gyre.pro alternatives compare side by side?
Upstream is the only alternative here that matches Gyre.pro on 24/7 cloud looping, a dedicated server setup and YouTube verification. Livepush and OneStream Live also loop 24/7 but on shared infrastructure, and the rest are live-first tools.

Not sure which streaming tool your channel needs?
The right tool depends on what you’re looping, how often you go live and what the stream needs to do for the rest of your channel. On a free discovery call I’ll look at your channel and tell you which setup fits, and whether a 24/7 stream is worth running at all.
- You’re weighing Gyre.pro against a cheaper alternative
- You want 24/7 loops and live shows on the same channel
- You have a back catalogue of evergreen videos doing nothing
- You want more watch time before the 1 February 2027 YouTube Partner Programme changes
Where do the alternatives beat Gyre.pro?
Alternatives beat Gyre.pro on price, platform count, live tools and interactivity. Gyre still leads on the dedicated IP per user and its enterprise track record. Here’s where each competitor wins:
- Price and free plans: Upstream has a free plan with no watermark and unlimited hours from $30 a month; Livepush, OneStream Live and Restream also start below Gyre’s $49.
- 24/7 loops plus live shows: Upstream does both from one account. Gyre.pro has no live studio.
- Platform count: OneStream Live (45+), Livepush (40+) and Upstream (30+) all beat Gyre’s 8 major platforms.
- Live guests: StreamYard and Restream are far better for live shows with guests.
- Interactivity: LiveReacting is in a league of its own for polls, games and viewer participation.
- Global CDN delivery: Castr’s Akamai CDN can perform better for audiences spread across several continents.
For pure hands-off 24/7 loops on a dedicated IP, Gyre.pro is still my pick, and it’s what I use for my own streams. The gap is narrower than it was, mainly because of Upstream. If you’re unsure whether Gyre’s price is justified for you, read Is Gyre.pro worth it?.
Which Gyre.pro alternative do I recommend?
For most creators wanting a cheaper or more flexible 24/7 tool, I’d start with Upstream. Here’s my recommendation by situation:
| If your priority is… | Use | Why |
|---|---|---|
| The most reliable hands-off 24/7 loop | Gyre.pro | Dedicated IP per user, enterprise track record |
| 24/7 loops at a lower price, or a free start | Upstream | Free plan, then $30/mo with unlimited hours |
| 24/7 loops plus live shows from one tool | Upstream | Cloud playlists and a browser live studio |
| The lowest price for basic loops | Livepush | From $15/mo with looping and scheduling |
| Live guests | StreamYard | Up to 10 guests, easiest guest setup |
| Maximum platform reach | OneStream Live | 45+ destinations |
Whichever you pick, test it before committing. Gyre.pro’s 7-day trial and Upstream’s free plan both let you run a real stream first, and my guide to building a 24/7 YouTube channel shows what to measure. For every tool ranked on 24/7 performance, see the best 24/7 livestreaming tools.

People also ask about Gyre.pro alternatives
Short answers to four questions creators often ask before switching from Gyre.pro.
Why do people look for a Gyre.pro alternative?
Usually for one of three reasons: Gyre.pro’s $49 starting price, wanting a live studio as well as 24/7 loops, or needing more platforms than Gyre’s 8. Upstream covers all three.
Is Gyre.pro worth the price compared with alternatives?
For long-running loops where reliability matters most, I think so: the dedicated IP is what you pay extra for. If you’re testing an idea or want live tools too, a cheaper alternative makes more sense first.
Do Gyre.pro alternatives work without a computer switched on?
The cloud ones do. Upstream, Livepush, OneStream Live, Restream, StreamYard and Castr all stream from their own servers. OBS Studio is the exception: it needs your computer running the whole time.
Which Gyre.pro alternatives are on YouTube’s verified encoder list?
Upstream, Restream, StreamYard and OBS Studio are on the list, as is Gyre. Livepush, OneStream Live, Castr and LiveReacting were not listed when I checked on 20 October 2026.
Frequently asked questions
Longer answers to the questions people search for when comparing Gyre.pro alternatives.
What is the best Gyre.pro alternative?
Upstream is the best all-round Gyre.pro alternative. It loops playlists 24/7 from the cloud, is on YouTube’s verified encoder list, adds a live studio and starts with a free plan. Livepush is the budget pick for basic loops. Gyre.pro still leads on dedicated IP per user and enterprise features.
Is Upstream a good alternative to Gyre.pro?
Yes. Upstream runs pre-recorded playlists 24/7 from the cloud with your computer off, supports 30+ platforms (10 at once) and costs $30 a month per stream with unlimited hours, or nothing for 24 hours a month. Gyre.pro keeps the edge on dedicated IP, larger storage tiers and published case studies.
Is Livepush a good alternative to Gyre.pro?
Livepush is a solid budget alternative for loop streaming. It supports 40+ platforms, includes scheduling and looping, and starts at $15 a month. The trade-offs are shared infrastructure rather than a dedicated IP, no place on YouTube’s verified encoder list and a less polished experience.
Can OBS replace Gyre.pro for 24/7 streaming?
OBS Studio is free and can loop a playlist, but it needs a computer running 24/7 on an internet connection that never drops. One power cut, crash or update ends the stream, and the electricity adds up. A cloud tool such as Gyre.pro or Upstream removes those risks.
Is Restream a good alternative to Gyre.pro?
Restream is excellent for live multistreaming to 30+ platforms, but it isn’t built for 24/7 pre-recorded loops. If your goal is an automated loop, Restream solves a different problem, so look at Upstream or Livepush instead.
What does Gyre.pro offer that alternatives don’t?
Gyre.pro’s main advantages are a dedicated server and dedicated IP for every user, an enterprise white-label tier used by NBCUniversal and BBC Studio, a traffic redirection feature and a large set of published creator case studies. Upstream matches it on 24/7 cloud looping and YouTube verification.
Is there a free alternative to Gyre.pro?
Upstream’s free plan is the closest: every feature and 24 streaming hours a month, with no watermark and no card. OBS Studio is free but needs a computer running 24/7. Gyre.pro itself offers a 7-day free trial.
Can OneStream Live replace Gyre.pro?
OneStream Live supports scheduled pre-recorded streaming and 45+ platforms, so it’s a partial alternative. It runs on shared infrastructure, isn’t on YouTube’s verified encoder list and needs more manual setup for a reliable 24/7 loop.
Which Gyre.pro alternative is best for Twitch?
For 24/7 loops on Twitch, Upstream and Livepush are the strongest alternatives, and Gyre.pro supports Twitch too. Read Twitch’s own rules on pre-recorded streams before running a loop there.
Final thoughts: what’s the best Gyre.pro alternative?
Upstream is the best Gyre.pro alternative in 2026 for most creators: it does the 24/7 cloud loop, adds a live studio, covers 30+ platforms and starts free. Livepush is the budget choice for basic loops, and live-first tools like Restream and StreamYard are better kept for live shows. If you want the most reliable hands-off loop on a dedicated IP, stay with Gyre.pro.
