The short version
Gyre.pro is still my pick for hands-off 24/7 loops on YouTube. Upstream is the strongest all-rounder, with cloud 24/7 playlists, a live studio and a free plan in one tool. StreamYard wins for live guests, and Restream and OneStream Live win for reach. Every tool below gets the same treatment: what it does well, what it does badly, and who should buy it.
Why listen to me
I’m a YouTube Certified Expert (since 2017) with six YouTube Silver Play Buttons and 500+ channel audits behind me. I use Gyre.pro every day for my own 24/7 streams and have earned over $10,000 through its affiliate programme. I’ve also used Upstream myself and found it one of the easiest tools here to set up. I earn commission from some of these tools, which is why every review lists the downsides as well as the strengths.

⚡ QUICK ANSWER: BEST 24/7 LIVESTREAMING TOOL
Gyre.pro is the best 24/7 livestreaming tool in 2026 for hands-off looping of pre-recorded video on YouTube, thanks to its dedicated server and IP per user. Upstream is the best value alternative, with cloud 24/7 playlists, a live studio and a free plan. StreamYard wins for live guests.
Which 24/7 livestreaming tool is best in 2026?
Gyre.pro is the best tool for fully automated 24/7 loops, and Upstream is the best all-rounder if you also want to go live yourself. The other six tools each win one specific job, shown in the table below. I’ve ranked them by how well they handle 24/7 streaming, not by star rating alone.
| Rank | Tool | Best for | My rating | Starts at |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Gyre.pro | Hands-off 24/7 loops on YouTube | 4.8/5 | $49/mo |

What is a 24/7 livestream?
A 24/7 livestream is a live broadcast that runs around the clock, usually by looping a playlist of pre-recorded videos from a cloud server instead of your own computer. Music, lofi, sleep, news and gaming highlight channels use 24/7 streams to pick up live traffic and watch time while the creator gets on with something else. My guide to streaming pre-recorded video on YouTube 24/7 covers the setup in detail.
The tools in this guide split into two camps. Gyre.pro, Upstream, OneStream Live and Livepush can loop a playlist from the cloud with nobody watching over it. StreamYard, Restream, Castr and LiveReacting are built mainly for live broadcasts, where you’re present for every stream. If you’re unsure why cloud beats running OBS on a home PC around the clock, read cloud streaming vs desktop streaming.
How do the 8 tools compare feature by feature?
Gyre.pro and Upstream are the only two tools here that combine full 24/7 cloud looping with a dedicated server setup and a place on YouTube’s verified encoder list. OneStream Live and Livepush also loop 24/7, while the rest are built mainly for live broadcasting.

Tool-by-tool reviews: what is each 24/7 streaming tool good at?
Each review below gives my rating, who the tool suits, its price and an honest list of pros and cons. The order follows the ranking table above.
1. Gyre.pro: best for hands-off 24/7 pre-recorded automation
Rating: 4.8/5
Verdict: Gyre.pro is my pick for hands-off 24/7 pre-recorded loops on YouTube. Its dedicated server and IP per user, playlist looping and place on YouTube’s verified encoder list make it the most reliable option I’ve used for long-running streams.
Gyre.pro is the tool I use every day, and I’ve had streams running for months without touching them. You upload your pre-recorded videos to Gyre’s cloud, set up a stream or playlist, and Gyre broadcasts from its dedicated server using your RTMP stream key. When the playlist ends, it loops, with your computer off.
Gyre.pro gives every user a dedicated server and a dedicated IP. You’re not sharing infrastructure with thousands of other streamers, which means steady quality, no “noisy neighbour” interference and no unexplained drops at peak times. After years on shared-infrastructure tools, I notice the difference.
Gyre is also on YouTube’s verified encoder list, which I cover in what Gyre’s YouTube certification means. Its enterprise clients include NBCUniversal, BBC Studio and WildBrain, so the white-label tier has a real track record.
Gyre reports some strong creator results: one music channel with 8,450 subscribers pulled in 1.88 million views at an average watch duration of 1 hour 30 minutes, and a gaming channel with 2.78M subscribers earns 82.4% of its revenue from Gyre-powered streams. Gyre’s platform-wide averages are a 30% increase in watch time and a 20% lift in RPM. My full Gyre.pro review goes through the details.
Pricing: Start at $49/mo, Start+ at $99/mo (adds playlists and the scheduler), Pro+ at $169/mo (8 simultaneous streams). Annual plans save up to 40%. The full breakdown is in my Gyre.pro pricing guide.
Pros
- Purpose-built for 24/7 pre-recorded automation
- Dedicated server and dedicated IP per user
- On YouTube’s verified encoder list
- No channel login needed: RTMP stream key only
- Runs from any device, including mobile
- Enterprise white-label tier with broadcast clients
Cons
- No live guest functionality
- Not designed for interactive streams (polls, games)
- Higher starting price than most tools here
- Scheduler and playlists only on Start+ and above
2. Upstream: best value for 24/7 loops plus a live studio
Rating: 4.5/5
Verdict: Upstream is the best value 24/7 streaming tool in this list. It loops video and audio playlists from the cloud with your computer off, adds a browser live studio, supports 30+ platforms and has a free plan with no watermark.
Upstream is a browser-based live studio with overlays and 100 GB of storage, and it’s on YouTube’s verified encoder list. I’ve used it myself and found it one of the easiest tools in this list to set up. It also runs a 24/7 live stream from the cloud, which puts it in the same conversation as Gyre.pro.
It supports 30+ platforms and sends one stream to up to 10 of them at once. It also runs 24/7 looping playlists from the cloud with your computer off, and each stream gets its own cloud server.
Video and audio playlists are separate, loop in order or shuffled, and can be edited while you’re live without restarting the stream. Streams can be scheduled once, daily or weekly. The free plan includes every feature and 24 streaming hours a month, with no card and no watermark. Paid plans are $30 a month per 1080p stream, or $24 a month billed yearly, with unlimited hours. See Upstream pricing for the multi-stream tiers.
Where Gyre.pro still leads is the dedicated IP per user and its long record with broadcast clients. If you want a live show and a hands-off loop from one account, and you’d rather start free, Upstream is the better fit. I compare the two in detail in Gyre.pro vs Upstream.
Pros
- 24/7 looping playlists, no computer needed
- Free plan with 24 hours a month and no watermark
- Browser-based studio with overlay support
- Separate video and audio playlists, editable while live
- 100 GB storage included
Cons
- The free plan’s 24 hours a month won’t cover a true 24/7 stream, so round-the-clock use needs a paid plan
- Each extra simultaneous stream is billed separately ($50/mo for two)
3. Restream: best for live multistreaming to many platforms
Rating: 4.2/5
Restream is the best-known name in multistreaming. If your main goal is going live to 30+ platforms at once, including YouTube, Twitch, Facebook and LinkedIn, Restream does that reliably at a fair price. I’ve used it for live broadcasts where I wanted the widest reach.
Restream’s weak spot for this guide is 24/7 pre-recorded automation. It isn’t built around uploading a library of videos that loop with no involvement from you. You can schedule pre-recorded content, but the workflow is clunky next to Gyre.pro or Upstream. For live multistreaming, Restream wins. For automated 24/7 loops, pick something else.
Pricing: $20–50/month depending on features. Free tier available with a watermark.
Pros
- 30+ simultaneous streaming destinations
- Low entry price
- Built-in chat aggregation across platforms
- Good analytics dashboard
Cons
- Not purpose-built for 24/7 pre-recorded loops
- Shared infrastructure, so stability varies under load
- Needs active management for automated streaming
For a head-to-head, see my Gyre.pro vs Restream comparison.
4. StreamYard: best for live talk shows and guest interviews
Rating: 4.3/5
StreamYard is the standard for live interview shows, panels and talk-style broadcasts. I’ve brought guests on with StreamYard and the experience is smooth: up to 10 people on screen, professional overlays, lower thirds and branded graphics, all from a browser. Guests don’t need to download anything.
StreamYard is not a 24/7 automation tool. You need to start the stream, manage it and end it, and there’s no “upload a playlist and let it loop” workflow. For podcasters, interview shows and event broadcasts, StreamYard is excellent. For hands-off automation, it’s the wrong tool.
Pricing: $25–50/month. Free tier with a watermark.
Pros
- Up to 10 live guests at once
- Professional overlays and branded graphics
- No software download needed for guests
- Screen sharing and media playback during live shows
Cons
- No automated 24/7 looping
- Needs your presence for every stream
- Not designed for pre-recorded automation
More detail in my StreamYard review and Gyre.pro vs StreamYard breakdown.
5. Castr: best for hybrid live and on-demand streaming
Rating: 4.0/5
Castr is a cloud streaming platform that runs on Akamai’s CDN, which gives it solid global delivery. It handles both live streaming and pre-recorded playback, so it works as a true hybrid. I’ve tested Castr and it’s well built, particularly if your audience is spread across many countries.
Castr’s limitation for 24/7 use is that loop streaming is less polished and less purpose-built than on Gyre.pro or Upstream. Setup takes longer, and its standard plans don’t include a dedicated server. For a general-purpose platform with a good CDN, Castr is solid. For pure 24/7 loop automation, the top two tools in this list are better.
Pros
- Akamai CDN for strong global delivery
- Live and on-demand in one platform
- Interactive features available
- Low entry price
Cons
- Loop automation less refined than Gyre.pro
- Shared infrastructure
- More complex setup for automation
- Not on YouTube’s verified encoder list
My full comparison: Gyre.pro vs Castr (2026).
6. OneStream Live: best for maximum platform reach
Rating: 4.1/5
OneStream Live supports 45+ streaming destinations, the widest coverage of any tool in this list. If you run a corporate or media brand that needs to hit every platform at once, OneStream Live is worth a serious look. It supports scheduled pre-recorded streaming, so it can handle some of what Gyre.pro and Upstream do.
OneStream Live feels more business-focused than creator-focused. The interface works but isn’t as intuitive, and its loop streaming doesn’t have the same reliability record. For sheer destination count, OneStream wins. For ease of use and 24/7 reliability, Gyre.pro and Upstream are ahead.
Pros
- 45+ streaming destinations, the widest coverage here
- Scheduled pre-recorded streaming
- Low entry price
- Good team and enterprise features
Cons
- Loop automation less smooth than Gyre.pro
- Interface less creator-friendly
- Not on YouTube’s verified encoder list
See Gyre.pro vs OneStream Live for the full comparison.
7. LiveReacting: best for interactive and game-show streams
Rating: 4.0/5
LiveReacting fills a niche of its own: interactive live streaming with polls, quizzes, countdown timers and game-show mechanics built in. It also plays pre-recorded video inside interactive broadcasts. For gamified streams, trivia nights or countdown events, nothing else here comes close.
LiveReacting is the wrong choice for a plain 24/7 loop with no interactive element. The automation is there, but it isn’t what the platform is built around, and you’ll pay for features you won’t use.
Pros
- Polls, games and quizzes built in
- Pre-recorded video inside interactive templates
- Countdown and timer overlays
Cons
- Not designed for simple 24/7 loops
- Interactive elements need ongoing management
- Not on YouTube’s verified encoder list
More in Gyre.pro vs LiveReacting.
8. Livepush: solid budget option for loops and scheduling
Rating: 3.9/5
Livepush is a real competitor in pre-recorded loop streaming. It supports 40+ platforms, includes loop streaming and scheduling, and starts at $15 a month. For budget-conscious creators who need the basics, Livepush is worth considering.
Livepush falls short on infrastructure. It doesn’t offer a dedicated server or IP, so reliability on shared infrastructure is less consistent, and it isn’t on YouTube’s verified encoder list. For the price it’s good. For the most demanding 24/7 streams, Gyre.pro or Upstream are worth the extra money.
Pros
- 40+ platform destinations
- Loop streaming and scheduling included
- Lowest entry price of the full-loop tools
Cons
- Shared infrastructure, less stable under load
- Not on YouTube’s verified encoder list
- Less polished interface and fewer creator features
Not sure a 24/7 stream fits your channel?
A 24/7 stream works best when it feeds the rest of your channel. On a discovery call I’ll look at your back catalogue, your niche and your watch time, and tell you straight whether a looped stream is worth running and how to set it up so it sends viewers to your main videos.
- You have hours of evergreen videos sitting idle
- You want more watch time ahead of the 1 February 2027 YouTube Partner Programme changes
- You’re choosing between Gyre.pro and Upstream and want a second opinion
- You run several channels and want to know which one a stream suits
Gyre.pro vs Upstream: which is better for 24/7 streaming?
Gyre.pro is better if you want a purely hands-off loop on a dedicated IP with an enterprise track record. Upstream is better if you want 24/7 loops and a live studio in one tool, a lower entry price and a free plan to test with first.
| Feature | Gyre.pro | Upstream |
|---|---|---|
| 24/7 loop from the cloud | Yes, core feature | Yes, separate video and audio playlists |
| Computer needed while streaming | No | No |
| Server setup | Dedicated server and IP per user | Own cloud server per stream |
| YouTube verified encoder list | Yes | Yes |
| Live studio and guests | No | Yes, with overlays |
| Platforms | 8 major | 30+ (10 at once) |
| Scheduling | Start+ and above | Once, daily or weekly |
| Free option | 7-day trial | Free plan: 24 hrs a month, no watermark |
| Paid entry price | $49/mo | $30/mo per 1080p stream ($24 billed yearly) |
Sources: gyre.pro and upstream.so, checked 20 October 2026. Upstream’s server setup as stated by Upstream.
I’ve run my own long-term loops on Gyre.pro for years, so that’s where my first-hand numbers come from. Upstream is the easier place to start if you want to test a setup before paying, because the free plan costs nothing. For every Gyre.pro rival ranked, see Gyre.pro alternatives.
Which 24/7 streaming tool should you use for your situation?
Match the tool to the job: Gyre.pro for hands-off loops, Upstream for loops plus live shows, StreamYard for guests and OneStream Live for reach. The table covers every common situation.
| Use case | Best tool | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 24/7 pre-recorded loop automation | Gyre.pro | Purpose-built, dedicated IP, on YouTube’s verified list, no PC needed |
| 24/7 loops plus live shows in one tool | Upstream | Cloud playlists, browser live studio, 30+ platforms |
| Testing a 24/7 setup for free | Upstream | Free plan with every feature, 24 hours a month, no watermark |
| Live guests and interview shows | StreamYard | Up to 10 guests, easiest guest experience |
| Maximum platform reach | OneStream Live | 45+ destinations |
| Live multistreaming | Restream | 30+ live destinations at once |
| Interactive and gamified streams | LiveReacting | Polls, quizzes and games built in |

| Hybrid live and on-demand CDN | Castr | Akamai CDN, solid global delivery |
| Enterprise 24/7 broadcasting | Gyre.pro | White-label, broadcast clients, dedicated infrastructure |
How much do 24/7 livestreaming tools cost?
Entry prices for the tools in this guide run from about $10 a month (OneStream Live) to $49 a month (Gyre.pro). Upstream is the cheapest way to test a setup, with a free plan covering 24 streaming hours a month and a $30 1-stream plan with unlimited hours.
| Tool | Entry price | Mid tier | Top tier | Free option |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Gyre.pro | $49/mo | $99/mo | $169/mo | 7-day trial |
| Upstream | $30/mo (1 stream) | $50/mo (2 streams) | $200/mo (10 streams) | Free plan, 24 hrs/mo |
| Restream | $20/mo | $35/mo | $50/mo | Free tier |
| StreamYard | $25/mo | $39/mo | $50/mo | Free tier |
| Livepush | $15/mo | $30/mo | $50/mo | Free tier |
Prices in USD, excluding VAT where it applies. Upstream from upstream.so/pricing, checked 20 October 2026 (yearly billing cuts the 1-stream plan to $24/mo). Other prices from each provider’s site; check current terms before you buy.
Want a 24/7 stream that grows your channel?
Picking the tool is the easy part. The channels I see win with 24/7 streams choose the right videos to loop, package the stream like a proper upload and point viewers back to their best content. Book a call and I’ll map that out for your channel.
- You’re launching a music, lofi, sleep or highlights stream
- Your 24/7 stream gets views but no new subscribers
- You want a plan before you pay for a streaming tool
- You want your stream to point viewers at your newest uploads
Why do I still run my own 24/7 streams on Gyre.pro?
I run my own 24/7 channels on Gyre.pro because it does the one job I need, hands-off loops that keep running for months, and I haven’t had a drop on its dedicated IP. I’ve tested every tool in this list, and Gyre.pro is the one I trust to keep streaming while I’m on holiday or asleep.
Gyre.pro’s dedicated IP model is not a marketing gimmick. I’ve had stream drops on shared-infrastructure tools during busy periods on YouTube. On Gyre, my streams run on their own server and nobody else’s activity can interfere.
Gyre’s own figures back that up: it reports 9 billion views across its creators, $4.6 million in extra income for them and an average 30% increase in watch time. Numbers like that come from a platform that works at scale, 24/7, without hand-holding.
To get started, my Gyre.pro setup tutorial walks from account creation to your first live stream. For the business case, Can Gyre.pro Really Make Passive Income? breaks down the revenue side honestly.
Start your 24/7 stream today
Gyre.pro offers a 7-day free trial. Upload your videos, set your playlist and see what a dedicated cloud server does for your channel.
Can a 24/7 livestream get your channel in trouble?
A 24/7 livestream won’t get your channel in trouble on its own. YouTube allows looped pre-recorded streams, but the content still has to be yours, follow the Community Guidelines and, if you’re monetised, avoid YouTube’s reused content rules. The streaming tool doesn’t change any of that; a tool on YouTube’s verified encoder list simply connects to YouTube Live in a way YouTube recognises.
The risks come from what you loop, not how you loop it. Other people’s music, clips you don’t own and the same video looped across many channels are what get streams taken down. I cover the specifics in Can Gyre.pro get you banned on YouTube?, and if the worst happens, my guide to getting a banned channel back has the appeal steps.

How would I launch a 24/7 stream this week?
I’d start small, test on a free option and only pay once the stream shows it adds watch time and subscribers. These are the five steps I’d follow.
My 5-step launch plan
- I’d pick 3–10 hours of my own evergreen videos on one theme, such as music or gaming highlights, so the loop holds viewers.
- I’d test the loop on a free option first, either Upstream’s free plan or Gyre.pro’s 7-day trial, before paying for anything.
- I’d grab my YouTube stream key (here’s how to find your RTMP stream key) and run the stream unlisted for a day to check sound, quality and the loop point.
- I’d give the stream a proper title, thumbnail and description, with links to my best long-form videos.
- I’d check live analytics after a week and keep the stream only if it adds watch time and subscribers. My guide to increasing watch time with 24/7 livestreams shows what to look for.
People also ask about 24/7 livestreaming tools
Creators ask me these four questions about 24/7 streaming tools more than any others, so here are the short answers.
Is there a free 24/7 live streaming tool?
Not for unlimited round-the-clock streaming. Upstream’s free plan gives you every feature and 24 streaming hours a month with no watermark, and Gyre.pro has a 7-day free trial. Both let you test a 24/7 setup before paying.
Do you need to keep your computer on for a 24/7 livestream?
No, as long as you use a cloud tool. Gyre.pro, Upstream, OneStream Live and Livepush stream from their own servers, so your computer can be switched off once the stream starts.
Which streaming tools are on YouTube’s verified encoder list?
Gyre, Upstream, Restream and StreamYard are all on YouTube’s verified encoder list. Castr, OneStream Live, LiveReacting and Livepush were not listed when I checked on 20 October 2026.
Can you run more than one 24/7 stream on one YouTube channel?
Yes. YouTube lets a channel run several live streams at once, each with its own stream key. You need a plan that supports it: Gyre.pro’s Pro+ plan runs up to 8 simultaneous streams, and Upstream bills per stream.
Frequently asked questions
Longer answers to the questions people search for when comparing 24/7 livestreaming tools.
What is the best tool for 24/7 automated livestreaming?
Gyre.pro is the best tool for fully automated 24/7 livestreaming. It runs in the cloud, loops pre-recorded playlists with your computer off, gives each user a dedicated server and IP, and is on YouTube’s verified encoder list. Upstream is the closest alternative and costs less to start.
What is the difference between Gyre.pro and Restream?
Gyre.pro is built for 24/7 pre-recorded automation: you upload videos and they loop without you being present. Restream is mainly a live multistreaming tool that sends your live feed to 30+ platforms at once. They solve different problems, and for hands-off 24/7 loops Gyre.pro is the better choice.
Can I use StreamYard for 24/7 streaming?
StreamYard is designed for live interviews and talk-show style broadcasts with guests. It doesn’t loop pre-recorded playlists 24/7, so you would need to be present to run every stream. Use Gyre.pro or Upstream for round-the-clock loops and keep StreamYard for live shows.
Is Upstream good for 24/7 streaming?
Yes. Upstream loops separate video and audio playlists 24/7 from its own servers with your computer off, and you can edit the playlist while it’s live. It also includes a browser studio for live shows. The free plan covers 24 streaming hours a month, so a true 24/7 stream needs a paid plan.
What is the cheapest cloud streaming platform for looping video?
Livepush lists the lowest entry price of the tools here with full looping, at $15 a month. Upstream’s 1-stream plan costs $30 a month, or $24 a month billed yearly, with unlimited hours. Gyre.pro starts at $49 a month but adds a dedicated IP per user.
Which streaming platform supports the most destinations?
OneStream Live supports 45+ platforms and Livepush supports 40+. Upstream supports 30+ platforms and sends one stream to up to 10 at once, and Restream covers 30+ destinations. Gyre.pro covers the 8 major platforms, including YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, Instagram, X, Kick, Mixcloud and Telegram.
What is the best livestreaming tool for live guests and interviews?
StreamYard is the best tool for hosting live guests and interviews. It puts up to 10 people on screen at once in a browser studio with overlays, lower thirds and on-screen graphics, and guests don’t need to download anything to join.
Can Castr replace Gyre.pro for 24/7 streaming?
Castr is a capable cloud platform with strong CDN delivery, but its loop automation is less refined than Gyre.pro’s and it runs on shared infrastructure. For 24/7 pre-recorded automation, Gyre.pro’s dedicated IP per user and simpler looping make it the stronger choice.
Which tool is best for interactive livestreams with polls and games?
LiveReacting is built for interactive streams with polls, quizzes, countdown timers and game-show formats. If engagement mechanics are the main goal of your stream, LiveReacting does that job better than any other tool in this list.
Do 24/7 livestreaming tools work with Twitch and Kick as well as YouTube?
Yes. Gyre.pro, Upstream, Restream, OneStream Live and Livepush all stream to Twitch and Kick as well as YouTube. Each platform sets its own rules on pre-recorded streams, so read them before you run a loop anywhere other than YouTube.
Final thoughts: which 24/7 livestreaming tool should you choose?
Choose Gyre.pro if you want hands-off 24/7 loops on YouTube with a dedicated IP, which is what I use for my own streams. Choose Upstream if you want the best value, a live studio as well as 24/7 playlists, or a free plan to test with first. Pick StreamYard for guests, Restream or OneStream Live for reach, LiveReacting for interactive shows and Livepush if budget comes first.
